Some thoughts/recommendations (and these are my own)
I like Dell Desktop PC's and Laptops.
I also like Lenovo, Sony, and HP Laptops.
I am not a fan of Toshiba laptops, Gateway, Acer, or eMachine products
currently.
Configurations:
Lots of Power:
• Intel Processor the bigger the
faster (not AMD, Athlon, or Celeron)
• Windows 7, Windows XP or Vista 32 bit version (NOT 64 bit)
• 4GB RAM
• 250+ GB Hard Drive (7200 RPM (not 5400) if possible)
• DVD RW (DVD & CD Burner)
• 256MB+ Video Card
• Microsoft Office (Pick a Version)
• 1 year (at least) McAfee or Norton Antivirus
• UPS Battery Backup/Surge Suppressor
• Wireless Keyboard and Mouse
• 120GB+ External USB Drive (for backups
Middle Amount of Power:
