How to Change Your Screen Resolution


To change your resolution in
Windows 95/98, Me, NT, 2000, or XP:


From the
Start menu, select Settings, and then choose Control Panel

If you are using Windows XP, then from the Start menu, choose Control Panel. The Control Panel window will appear. If you are using Windows XP, open the Appearance and Themes icon.

Open the
Display icon. The Display Properties window will appear.

Click the
Settings tab.

Set the resolution to the size you like.  If it is available, click the Test button.  If the screen appears blank, it will return to normal in 5 to 15 seconds.

Click the OK button. Note: You may be prompted to restart your computer. Click the OK button to restart your computer.
