Wireless Networking – How to Connect/Troubleshoot (SP1)

Click Here for a Printable Version of this Document

If you see something like Wireless connection unavailable or One or More Wireless Networks Found, here is how to connect/troubleshoot.

  1.   Find the Wireless Network Connection in the System Tray (bottom right by the clock) by moving your Mouse over the icons until you see “Wireless Network.”

It will probably look like 2 computers.

  1. Right Click on that icon, and then Left Click on View Available Wireless Networks

  1. Then a window will pop up with (hopefully) a list of available wireless networks.  If you see your network listed, click Connect.

  • If you DO NOT see your network list click Advanced

  • Still “searching” for wireless network, click Refresh

  1. After you click Connect, you may need to wait as much as 30 seconds then you can move your cursor back on the wireless network icon and HOPEFULLY you will see that you are connect (as below).

Try opening Internet Explorer to see if you get on.

  1. If this doesn’t work, restart your computer.

  2. If you’ve restarted, you may want to run through these steps again.

  3. Still can’t connect, call us at (954) 465-3580.
